Ok so I just got a new original stone Tamagotchi gen 2 and I can't pause it so my 6-year-old died, for the third time please tell me why it won't pause! I know how but it won't!

when you're on the clock screen, press the 'a' and 'c' buttons at the same time so that it says 'set'. it's paused like this.

No model has a pause button. It's always a combination to press that's detailed in the manual, or is otherwise a feature like a babysitter or a hotel - or the clock-set thing, as in this case.

Well yeah, that’s what I meant. Just used the wrong words
