Please answer my simple question

Can v1 and v2 connect? I'm pretty sure they can but my friend is telling me they can't. if they can, I'm buying one v2 today. If there not, I'm buying two v2s . Please answer me

Yes, they can. In the connect menu you van choose between V1 connection and V2 connection. Choose V1 and the tamagotchis'll exchange presents, play the usual games and mate even!!

I advise you to get 2 V2s though because there are new games on the V2s only seen through connecting (tug of war and running are new)
