really. i've neever tried it, but i did notice some pattern in items you buy from the shops. for example, when i bought the treasure chest the first time as an adult, i turned old, but when i bough it a second time, as a teen, it was points

The age of your Tama doesn't actually affect what the plant gives you. It either becomes a smiley face, glowering face, or a bag of points. I've had babies get smiley faces, I've had adults get points, and everything in between. It's all a game of chance.
