Only one sprite on v5

So this is my fourth generation on the version five and I only got one egg. Is this normal and how do i bond in this format?

Yes this is a normal to happen some generations.

Bonding will work the same way as it always has funny enough. Not really sure who the lone Tama is bonding with, but he'll still feel the bond
