Old timers

I am on my 4th gen. of tamagotchi. I was wondering:

my friend is letting her tama grow into an old timer. She asked me if I would let mine do the same and then let the 2 of them get married! I think its a great idea, but will the child be Gen 5 or will I have to start all over because its oldtimer?

the child would also turn into oyajitchi!!!

i did that and it did...i will try and get some pics of it soon...

by the way..your tama would turn into the oldtimers around 12 or more...and before then you must keep on rejecting the match maker...
