Nintendogs + Cats Questions

Does the dog die or run away when you don't take care of it?

Does this do the same thing for the cats?

Both dont die and im not so sure about them running away but in the old game they temporarily run away.

They dont die, but if you leave your game on but dont care for them etc. they will run away for a few days...they will return. They will not run away if your game is off.

They never die or grow up and even if that looks boring or I dunno... whatever It's perfect cause when you get bounded with your puppy/kitten you can't let it die! I love nitendogs all though I have the DSI labrator version and not the 3D one!
