Newbie! Need Help w/Passport Error Code

My 7 year old daughter just got her first Tama V3. We tried to visit TamaTown, but when we input the passport number we get an "error" message.

I searched all over this site but apparently I'm the only person who is having this problem! Any suggestions you have would be so helpful!

Don't worry. You need to check:

You are putting the password in the right place

You are using the correct password

You are typing it in right

You are on the right website (e.g america's tama town - www.tamatown.com)

Welcome to TamaTalk! I think you should try entering the password again. Also, when tama town asks for your user name, did you put in the right one? It has to be the same as the one on the tama in order to work. I hope these work. Good Luck!

But also, you are not the only one with this problem. A lot of kids have problems with tama town when they first sign on. It can be quite confusing!

Remember that there is also a FAQ section on the site, which may help you if you havn't already seen it.

Hi Welcome . Ok, when you go on Tama Town, you need put in the Username that is on your Tamagotchi V3. Otherwise it won't work. Plus, don't worry, you aren't the only one with this problem. I had it once before.

Well, I'm using the UserName she set up (not the tama's name), and I've been entering the code in the Games/Activities screen, where the little "Password" guy is. I read the FAQ's at the TamaTown site, but it seems like I am doing everything correctly, so I don't know what to do next.

Is there a way to reset the Tama so I can enter a new UserName, or would that not matter?

I do appreciate everyone's great suggestions though!
