Hello, all. My name is Raewyn, I'm fifteen years old, and I'm from southern Ontario.
I was really into Tamagotchi (and Giga Pets and Nanos and Dinky Dinos and those little Pikachu step-counter-type-things...) in the mid-late 90's when I was younger, and I just got back into collecting and raising them about a year ago when I was given a Tamagotchi Connection V1 last Christmas. Since then, I've acquired a V2 and a mini; the latter of which is- unfortunately- without batteries at the moment. My current V1 is a male Kutchipatchi named Dax; my current V2 is a female Whaletchi named Laura.
A lot of my friends have the new Tamagotchies; it's extremely easy to find people around here with whom I can connect. I never thought I'd fall back into love with something I obsessed over at the age of six, but here I am. Pretty cool, if you ask me. Not even Pokemon was able to draw me in again after I lost interest.
As a bit of an aside, has anyone else ever burst out laughing at the sight of a boot-wearing Masktchi?
