Need help, I'm new with Tamagotchi.

Hi, I just got a Tamagotchi, and I would like to know something. Why wont it play with me? The only way it will play with me is if I give it a snack. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Each time you play a game your Tama loses weight.

If you want to play another game and by playing it your Tama's weight falls below the minimum programmed for that character, it will shake it's head and refuse to play.

You should also know that if you keep feeding it snacks, it will eventually get sick (toothache) and you will have to give it medicine to cure it

Ok, I have a Weight Chart that should help you a little:

Baby:

Minimun Weight: 5 LB (pounds)

Maximun Weight: 10 LB

Toddler:

Minimun Weight: 10 LB

Maximun Weight: 17 LB

Teen:

Minimun Weight: 15 LB

Maximun Weight: 25 LB

Adult:

Minimum Weight: 30 LB

Maximun Weight: 40 LB

Ok, if you are confused about the Maximum weight, as most people may be, the maximum weight is the weight before you tamagotchi is overweight (fat). You may want to keep the weigh between minimum weight and maximum weight, this way you won't get a masktchi or gozarutchi. Unless you don't want those characters, keep your tamagotchi fit.
