DAY FOUR
Sorry I didn't write here earlier on. It's morning. 5 AM. I got up early because of a dream I had. I still remember it, clear as the breaking dawn or my failed stories.
I was falling down a smooth white tunnel. I am scared of slides or tunnels - when I was three, I got a friction burn on a slide and since then I have hated them. I was falling and not screaming. The walls of the tunnel were plastic, but they did not scrape or burn my skin. I just slid through them. The tunnel seemed spacious too - I'm claustropobic, but for some reason this did not make my nerves jump around my body like they would if this was ordinary. It was extraordinary - a journey through time and space. A journey to somewhere I couldn't imagine or explain.
I was travelling infinitely fast. Since the walls were pure white, with no bolts or tiles or anything, I had no idea of the speed at which I was going. I was just slipping through space as easily as a fish through water.
The journey took a time I cannot estimate. It seemed to take both forever and no time at all. I didn't just pop out of the tunnel - it faded from beneath me, the bottom of it melting away before my very eyes. I landed on a grassy meadow. I felt dizzy. I looked up, but the tunnel was the merest glimmer of white in the clear blue sky.
Suddenly, a voice spoke to me. It seemed to be a young boy's voice - yet not quite a young boy's voice. It was not human. It said, "who are you?"
I looked up at it and saw AAAAA. The Gozarutchi I had neglected. I stuttered "I'm...you remember..."
He straigtened up and said to me, "Yes, I remember. I remember the child who abused and neglected me. I remember the child who didn't respond when I trusted her with my life. I trusted you with a secret, girl, and you never even told me your name. You are Earth's first Tamagotchi Child."
"What...what..." I stuttered.
"You are the first one on your planet, Earth, who will meet us." explained AAAAA. "You are the one we trust to know our secret. The secret of Tamagotchi. Many believe, but few have evidence. A few are minorly trusted - their Tamagotchi gives them a small token of happiness, or if they trust a human a bit more, something that any other human would not accept. Something wonderful...they just don't believe."
"Who..." I added, still struck by this. It seemed real.
"You, even, are shocked to see me. Many believe, but few get evidence. You know what happened. Danna and I trusted you. We appeared in your mind. You were ungrateful - you tried to get rid of us. There are many other humans we are beginning to trust. They will, perhaps, be more grateful. But you can make it up to us."
"How?" I asked.
"Your signal is very weak. Your connection to us. Your mind is connected to us, but since you do not believe, the signal is weak. Danna was not shouting about buns and Power Rangers. She was shouting "Run! Powerful danger!". There is a danger to us. It might kill us. You can earn our gratitude - and the greatest trust we can give a human - if you will help to save us."
"What do I have to do?" I asked. I wasn't liking the sound of this at all.
"You don't have to...you want to. You will know what to do. Goodbye..."
He vanished in a swirl of colours, leaving me in my bed at home. I got up and switched on the light. And here I am, wondering what to do. Would AAAAA take me to his world again? Probably not. Then it was up to my willpower to get a signal.
"Hello? AAAAA? HELLO? Can you hear me..."
