My Tamagotchis became adults

My oldest, a boy, became a Mametchi (YAY)

My second oldest, a girl, became a Chantotchi (Cute!)

My third Tamagotchi, a boy, became a Kuchipatchi.

They are my very first v5 Tamagotchi's I'm raising.

But isn't it strange? I heard you can never get Tamas from diffrent familes...aren't Mametchi and Chantotchi part of the Smart Family? Kuchipatchi is part of the EasyGoing famliy right?

Different people from different families make a blended family. When you are on 1st gen, you get a blended family with 3 orphans. When thee reached adult, they will have the opportunity to mate them afte 2 days.

Mametchi + Chantotchi= Mame family

Memetchi + Mumutchi= Meme Family

Violetchi + Sukatchi = Violet family

Kuchipatchi + Yonepatchi = Kuchipa family

The families above can only be made with 100% bondage. To get Smart, Cheerful, or Easygoing families, mate a charcter from a non-pure family state (for example, Chantotchi). Chanotchi will want to mate with a Smart family member, am I right? So let's pick Furikotchi. Chantotchi + Furikotchi = Smart family. I've heard you need 50% bonds for this type of family. The same with the other families (e.g Cheerful, Easygoing.) Hope I've helped!

Edit-Chanotchi is from the Smart family state, so is Mametchi. If you mate Mametchi with the Matchmaker's Chantotchi, you get a Mame family. This can only happen with 100% bonds

Yes, Mametchi and Chantotchi are from the same family group and Kuchipatchi is from another-BUT, while it may seem odd, it's perfectly normal. You are just raising what is called a "mixed" (or "blended") family. That means that you are raising characters from different family groups, not just one family group.

I have a V5 of my own. I am on my 3rd generation and I've had all mixed families so far, so there's really nothing to worry about.

Also I have another question.

Regardless of how you marry off your Tama (either with another v5 unit or through the Dating Channel), can you choose which Tamagotchi you can marry off?

When on the dating show or marriage by connection, you can choose which character you want. On connection marriage, one tama has to say Give and the other has t say Accept.
