my tamagotchi died

so yes, mine died.....i had made it all the way to G4 also. i left it in the car unpaused for like 20 min and i made sure its happy and hunger hearts were full. i am kind of confused as to do a reset or a download. i think i reset it. so now i am back to G1 and i had lost all of my items, points, ect..... is their anyway i can get that back. should i have done a download? is it too late to do a download? or does that just happen when they die? they loose everything and you have to start back from first generation. i am just confused.....someone please help me understand.

No,it is too late now and no,you can also download when you poke the reset button with a pen or pencil.

If you selected"Download" you would of hatched another egg and it would have all of it's stuff.(items,food,friends.etc)

Selecting download when it is not dead would make it go from the last major event,one example"waking up.

So,yes you should of done a download if you wanted everything back.

when it shows the tamagotchi dead i push the reset button and an egg shows up. i push the middle button and select reset and it just shows it dead again. not another egg. i have a v4.5. i am not sure what i am doing wrong

When you press the reset button on your Tamagotchi, then press B, the Download/Reset menu comes up. Downloading will restore your Tamagotchi to the previous major event in its life, such as evolving or even simply waking up. Death also counts, so downloading will not restore a dead Tamagotchi unless you do it WHILE your Tamagotchi is in the process of dying. (It will be lying down on the floor with a skull flashing over its head.) Reset is just as it is, resets your Tamagotchi completely.

I'm very sorry but you've lost all of your stuff....

If you clicked download, Like gotchi guy said, It would've had all its data except the generation.

It's too late to download coz u already reset it at the time

Actually you can't get back those gotchi points coz it's already again ur 1st gen coz u reset it...

This problem is really making me dizzy but i'll make my best to help you

If your Tamagotchi dies and you reset it holding A & C you will NOT get all of your gotchi points, food, items back,BUT it will let you do memory for your Tamagotchi.

Sheesh guys, if you select download it brings everything back sometimes even the whole tamagotchi! Then reset is basic you lose everything even your old tama.
