Hi, i am new here. I am a 90s kid and i have experienced the vpet like digimon and few others but this is my first ever tamagotchi. I can't afford it back then and only now I decided to have one after I stumbled upon it on internet and found out that they are still in production. Just got my tamagotchi but sadly my tama is having some problem out of the box. I am not sure what is wrong with it, the screen is not working, might be error in connection between the board and LCD screen.. or syetem error. I purchased it online and have contacted the seller and still waiting for the to reply as it is weekend now. I am just sharing it here as i can't seem to find similar case on the internet. Cheers

Looks like your tama is experiencing a graphical glitch. Have you tried resetting it by pushing the indented button on the back of it? Glitched graphics can sometimes happen when putting in new batteries and I've also heard this can happen when first activating a virtual pet and not resetting afterwords (I've had a more minor case of programming abnormalities on another model which I never reset at all since I got it).
It doesn't look like you have an issue of dead pixels or loose connections since then the programming would continue to function normally but just have blank spots.

What other Vpets have you experienced? I have one of the original Digimon virtual pets and I've run it a few times.

That is...a strange glitch! If resetting doesn't work..it might be worth getting a replacement if possible?

Yes, I have contacted the seller for a return and refund. Can't wait to get my new tamagotchi.
