my best friendid quickly becoming poular-ated (my word for "being sucked into the popular world") and shes been hanging out with them more often, shes the total opisite of me, gurly, emotional, gracful, and pretty but weve been best friends since the diper days and now shes drifting away, i really didnt care for a wile until she began to act more like them, wearing galons of mak-up to school and saying stuff like "OMG" instead of "oh my gosh!" she was getting,just,WEIRD. then what really blew me off was when they were in the hallway in thier little "huddle" and this was there converstation (i was listening cuz im heard my name, their backs were facing tords me and they didnt no i was there)

makena- yeah those were some REALLY ugly pants, what do u wanna bet she dosnt even own a miror! XD

my former best friend- yeah i now! i mean... FASHION CHECK!

then i snuck behind them and tried to sould really vally-gurl-ish and said "O.M.G yeah i no shes ,like, such a total dork!!" then they looked over to me and the looks on thier face was like *BUSTED* but i just glared at my friend and walked away, i dont no what to do now

Well sounds like your friend has made her choice and best thing to do is just stop interacting with her completely, and find someone new to hang out with that will like you for you and who is loyal. I had friends in the past who put popularity over our friendship and turned out she was a toxic friend overall once she made her choice so I was better off. Perhaps this can be a new start for you to have someone decent to interact with

I know exactly how you feel. I was in this exact same position.

I know it is way easier said than done, but I think it is best to move on. She doesn't sound like a great friend, and just like .:Charm:. said, best friends are supposed to make you happy, not sad like this 'friend' of yours.

Is there another group of girls who you get along with? Anyone you talk to during classes? I would recommend starting to hang out with them, and I'm sure they won't mind ^_^

Letting go is hard, but sometimes it's what's best for you.

But i know what your talking about. Just maybe if you wnat to stay friends with her

talk to her. tell her how that made you feel and whats you think.

Tell her your feelings and everything. if sha doesn't listen then just tell her that you dont want to be friends with her

and how bad she hurt your feelings. and just let go

P.S. I hope you dont take what they say aout your pants seriously. I think everyone has they're own style and everyone always looks cute in what they wear )

I actually think you handled that pretty well. You didn't let them get away with gossiping about you (Next time they'll think first before they start to talk about you!). I would agree with what pretty much everyone else is saying here. Don't hang out with that girl if she's mean to you. Find some nicer people to be friends with.

You have to find a new friend. You have to forget her somehow. You have to remember that she is not being a true friend and even though she's been your good friend for a long time. But your better of without her cuz shes just gonna hurt you.
