After Kyle got to Oak Street, Maya was so happy...
[SIZE=21pt]~Part 5-1~[/SIZE]
Maya was tired. The Evil Twin had turned her black and he dragged her around all day. And now she was locked in this tower.
Suddenly she heard a commotion outside. What was going on? She wondered. Had someone come to rescue her? Was Kyle here? She waited and waited.
After a while, she heard the door click and it opened. Kyle came in!
"I'm here!" he said. "I tied my Evil Twin and that girl up." He pointed out the window.
Sure enough, this breathtakingly beautiful blue Violetchi and the Deviltchi were tied up outside.
"Oh Kyle!" she cried. "I'm so glad to see you!" She ran up and kissed him.
He just stood there, frozen. That was strange, she thought.
Then he slammed the door of the tower quickly and locked it. He turned into a Deviltchi!
The Evil Twin! He cackled evily.
"Go away! I never liked you!" she said.
"You're still mine!" he said. "You have an hour left up here to decide who you are going to love. And if it isn't me, then- " He disappeared.
Meanwhile, Kyle...
[SIZE=21pt]~Part 5-2~[/SIZE]
I struggled, trying to loosen the bonds of the rope. Victoria had no trouble casting hers off.
"I showed him how to use that rope," she muttered.
"Can't you get mine off?" I asked.
"Why should I?"
"Because we both don't like that Deviltchi."
"True," she said, "But not true. I thought I liked him, but now I love you. I'm not letting you escape to find HER."
Then Victoria said, "It's your choice. Be freed and come with me, or be left here and stay with her."
