Yesterday my club cricket team, Brothers Under 12's, defeated Bluebirds who were 3rd in the competition, and now we are second on the ladder! There is only one more regular match to go, and even if we lose we will still be in the final! I'm so excited because we will be playing Gracemere, the best team in the competition. They have only been defeated once, by us. And for 2 weeks we were first on the ladder because of that win!
Well, I did pretty well yesterday! I got the figures of 2/5 in bowling, a specky of a catch at square leg, and I was retired for 7 from 25 (maybe more, maybe less balls) MY BEST GAME EVER! And I had to impress because I am not normally recognised for my batting and I think I earnt my place up the order! I hope I am 5th in the order next Saturday when we play Norths. They are the worst team in the comp. They have only won 2 games out of 14 matches!!! Hopefully I can make heaps of runs against them!!
