Mothra Game

When playing the game on Mothra, I think the Mothra only appears in each hole once, unless you do not guess that hole correctly (then she can be in it again). So, you're best off not picking the same hole more than the one time that you guess it right. I've found her 4/5 in three games out of the four I've played using this method.

Of course, there are only 4 holes. I just played again and got 5/5. I picked the holes without picking duplicates until the end (and managed to be correct) and the last hole I picked was the same as the first I picked.

I think there is a method to the game, just gotta pay attention!

I am running a Mothra right now as well (Japanese Tamagotchi from 1997)

But she definitely appears in the same place (twice in a row) on a regular basis on my Mothra... even when I guess right.

I tried making a note of the pattern of appearances each time I played the game (for a whole day...yawn) and I couldn't see one - but I didn't take into account the possibility that the pattern might change depending on when you guess wrong... however, maths and pattern recognition were never my strong points - and hey.. life's too short :wub:

Mine's just the stage under your grub, as I just got her today. :angry:

I think I read part of your log, TamaMum.

I'm hoping to raise her right for a secret character after she passes (as in, get her to lay an egg).

I tend to at least get 3/5 each time, which is good because it still fills one happy heart... And I did get 5/5 once today and 4/5 quite a few times as well.

The only time I got 2/5 was the first time I played.

I still like how the game keeps going so you can keep trying if you want.
