Medicine Icon on P1 does not light up

I just received a new in box tabbed p1 1997 tamagotchi, and the medicine icon on the top right corner dos not light up when i go to it. Is there any way to fix this, or is it stuck like that forever?

Just tighten the screws.

it actually depends on why its not working.

P1 is a very old version, which im sure you are aware about, so it is possible that the "pixel" for the medicine icon have "burned out" or "died".

as well as Orandatchi said, it is possible that the screws are not tight enough, causing the link between the microchip, and the screen to be separated a bit.
