Which version? On the V4 Take a look at this growth chart (On the v4 Masktchi exists as a only a female) Here. On the other versions like the v3, and etc. Masktchi comes from bad care and you must be on the odd generations (1, 3, 5, 7, and etc), now this doesn't mean you have a 100% chance of getting Masktchi.
