Logout Code for Tamatown

Hi, when I'm finished in Tamatown I key in the logout code and then what do I press to register the code? It only lets me hit back and exit with are you sure? Yes No I keyed the code in that I got and then nothing happened. Is there a button sequence to press to complete the code entering process and have it register the code in teh tamagochi?

when u go to tamatown u enter the login code and do not exit the login thing on ur tama then click b and enter the logout password when done

Yeah I enter the log out password into the tamagotchi and then what happens? The code just stays on the screen, am I suppose to press something else?
