PART 1
Little Kitty Girl had always been a stray. Well, not ALWAYS. She'd had a few owners. Her first one had been a year ago after she had been made. A little 5 year old boy named Timmy had bought Little Kitty Girl but then had lost her when they had gone to the store. Kitty Girl had then been saved by a man who worked at the store. Kitty Girl was then given to the man's daughter who was very spoiled. Kitty Girl had just been left in a corner when the other many Webkinz the girl owned. Then one day Kitty Girl had been thrown away. After that a man at the dump saw her and took her to a gift shop where Kitty Girl stayed for a while. So you see, Kitty Girl had never had a place she could call home. She kept dreaming though. Every day as children left with their new Webkinz the poor little Ally Cat would think about where each Webkinz would go. But one day that all changed.
Kitty Girl had been watching yet another Webkinz being bought. This one was a Brown Dog. He had a cheery smile on his face as the little child hugged him tight. As the dog and his new owner left Kitty Girl felt the stand she sat on raddle. She looked down to see a 3 year old girl shaking the stand hard. "Mommy!" cried the girl to her mother. "I want that kitty!" The girl pointed up at Kitty Girl. "Ok," agreed the mother reaching for her. But just at that same moment Kitty Girl fell off the stand and on to the floor. Another Webkinz fell on top of her. It was a White Poodle. "Ooh! I want that puppy!" cooed the girl and picked up the poodle. So there lay Kitty Girl. She didn't know what to do. She felt very scared and very small. After a moment she got up on her thin legs and took a step forward. Slowly, Kitty Girl got to the door and slipped out. The world was very big! She relized looking up at the big blue sky. But she heard someone walking towards her! Quickly, Kitty Girl dropped to the ground. A women's hand grabbed Kitty Girl up. She looked at the cat with tiny slits of her eyes. "You'd make a perfect toy!" the women told Kitty Girl. What did this lady mean? She soon found out when the women took her to a big wear house. Inside many different toys were being made. Kitty Girl spotted another Webkinz that looking very different. It's fur had been dyed. And on its tail was attached a string. When a man pulled the string the Webkinz mouth opened and it sang 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star'. Kitty Girl was very scared now. She was set on a cold table where another man was working on a Webkinz. "Here's another one." said the women. The man reached for Kitty Girl but Kitty Girl acted fast. She hissed and made a dash for the door. "It's alive!" yelled other workers. Kitty Girl ran outside and down the street. She didn't know where she was going but it was away from that place! After a while Kitty Girl stopped to get her breath. She was lost. She sat down and cried. The crying made her sleepy and she was soon asleep. When Kitty Girl woke up she was in a warm room. She was in a basket along with flowers and candy. In the room were chairs and sofas. A TV, a window, and a table were also in the room. And so many old people! Kitty Girl was sure she was in a old folks' home. It smelled bad. Really bad. A young lady came up to the basket and handed it to an old lady. "Happy birthday, Heather!" said the young lady. The old lady looked at Kitty Girl. "You got me a stuffed cat! How did you know I've always wanted one?" asked the old lady taking Kitty Girl in her wrinkled hands. Heather's breath smelled bad and Kitty Girl held her breath. "I'm glad you like it." the young lady said. Kitty Girl knew this wasn't the type of home she was looking for.
