As the hazy, morning sun shone upon the tall clock tower in Twilight Town, Roxas arose to see it was 9:45 AM. Today he was going to meet Sora in the Usual Spot and hang for a while before getting some popsicles. As Roxas climbed out of bed, he realized he was running a tad late. He slipped on his shoes and clothes and headed for the fridge. He grabbed a yogurt bar and dashed out the door.
"Roxas!" A familiar voice called to him.
Roxas ran to the entryway of the Usual Spot. Sora was standing there with a big grin. "So," he started. "Wanna get some train tickets and popsicles soon?"
Roxas nodded. "Yeah, sounds good! Where to?"
As they talked they began to walk to the train station, not too far off from the Usual Spot. When they turned around the next corner, Sora kicked something not much larger than a stone. The white, glistening item slid to a stop. Sora and Roxas paused and looked down at the curious...thing. It was egg-shaped, and it seemed to have beeped once when Sora kicked it.
"What is that..?" Roxas said, squinting his eyes. Sora shrugged and laughed a bit when the thing beeped again.
Suddenly, from the next street over, a young girl in a plain white dress and long, blonde hair came running over to the egg-shaped item and gently picked it up. She dusted off the dirt, restoring its pure white color. She looked up at Sora and Roxas and shyly smiled. "Sorry."
And she ran off.
