Some of you might have found this out already, although I think it appropriate to explain anyway;

The Jumping Rope game is the first one available on the V4 and also an important part of the evolution from Baby Tamagotchi to Toddler Tamagotchi, as the Baby's only method of gaining skills points. Jumping Rope is just as it sounds, a game of jump rope in which your Tama must jump correctly 30 consecutive times in order to win the most Gotchipoints and skill points. However, according to some accounts of the game, the speed of the rope is said to change at random. This is not true.

The speed of the rope is normal from jump 0-10.

Then, for jumps 11- 14, the rope speeds up.

From 15-24 the rope returns to it's normal speed.

Finally, for jumps 25-30, the rope speeds up the last time.

Now, when the rope is swinging at its normal speed (jumps 0-10 and 15-24), it is best to press B (jump) at the point after the rope has been a straight line, but before it reaches the bottom of the screen.

When the rope is swinging faster (jumps 11-14 and 25-30), you should press B when the rope appears to be a straight line in the middle of the screen.

You'll receive six skill points in a random category (intelligence, fashion or kindness) and 400 Gotchipoints for successfully completing the Jumping Rope game (all 30 jumps); four random skill points and 300 Gotchipoints for getting 20-29 jumps; three random skill points and 150 Gotchipoints for 10-19 jumps; one skill point and 100 Gotchipoints for 5-9 jumps and one skill point and 10 Gotchipoints for 1-4 jumps.

Actually, the points you get are not random. Every time you play, the category in which you get your skill points, changes. Every day it resets to inteligence, so the first time you play jump rope, you get skill points in the inteligence category. After that, you get them in kindness, and finaly in fashion, before it goes back to inteligence. But even if you don't win anything, the category in which you get points changes. So if you play for the first tie that day, you get inteligence points. Next time you play, you lose. The third time, instead of getting kindness points, you get fashion.

Just to say, although Jump Rope gives you points in ALL areas, Mimic is the only other game that does that, too. All the other games give you points in a certain area. Like dance gives you points in creativity, Shape in intelligence, and Flag in fashion.
