Keeping tamagotchi pet after marriage (Tamagotchi On)

I got what I would like to call an S-tier tamagotchi pet hahaha

I really don't want to give it up because it's so cute, but is there a way for me to keep my pet after marrying this guy off?

I don’t think there’s a way to keep the pet after marriage unfortunately! Just put the toy that brought him every time you start a new generation.
