Keep getting same gender babies on 4U+?

Whats the deal with getting different gender babies on the 4u+/4u?

I keep getting males. I was told how full the happy/hungry meters are when mating helps determine but I can't find anything online. And I get males no matter if my meters are full or low.

It's completely random. Your situation was just a coincidence.

I had the same scenario with my iD a while back - I had 5 consecutive girls. Nothing serious

The same happens to me with my connection v1. That's five boys in a row now. I'm not sure there are girls in this tamagotchi.
