Hi! I just wanted to say hello to you all and present myself.
I'm a 26 year old guy who, when the first Tamagotchi was released, didn't got to play with the small wonders. It wasn't until connection v.3 was released in Sweden (I was about 19) that I actually bought my first real one (I've had some cheap knockoffs before that, but that's not really the same thing now is it?
). I played with that together with my 9 year younger sister, who also got one, for about a year or so. After that there has been a long break and I've been looking for a good virtual pet on the phone every now and then but couldn't find anything I liked... UNTIL... Namco Bandai decided to release Tamagotchi Classic on the phone!
Two cute Mametchis later, out of nowhere, my sister tells me that she still has our old v.3's in a drawer home at my parents house. This is about a week after I got the news that they are going to release a new Tamagotchi in the UK in December. So now, a couple of weeks later, I'm the proud owner of a v.3 Mametchi named Zucki, my little v.3 Kuchitamatchi named Nea (Child of my earlier Pyonkotchi named Bibbi) and a brand new Tamagotchi Friends Petithanatchi named Lilly.
I'm happy to see there is a place for Tamagotchi fans online. I hope I'm welcome and I promise to be nice!
