I need to know... I am on Generation 16 with my tamagotchi and I get really afraid that like if i leave her alone for a short time that she will die even when I take good care of her. Is this true? It seems to me as though it would be easier for her to die when she's on a higher generation than a lower one. Can someone help?

I would think it would be the same as caring for a first generation tamagotchi. ;)

maybe your just streesing over he because shes on a higher generation level- don't worry- she'll be fine if you take good care of her. :D

i agree ;)

Don't stress, take it easy and just do what you do to every generation. I've looked in peoples logs in some places and they are in an even higher level. No worrys! ;)

My v1's on 97th generation at the moment and it's not getting any harder. My v4's on 28th generation and the only thing that makes it seem harder is the frustration at caring for a v4!

EDIT: Just gonna add that sometimes I get stressed as well. My going-to-bed routine is check to make sure the time on my Tamagotchi is correct, go to the toilet, go back to my bedroom, double check to make sure the time on my Tamagotchi is correct, go to bed.

actually, its just the same! its just that i actually is sadder if a high generation tama dies...

What's the highest generation? How high can it go? It must take a year for ur tama to be on gen. 97!

I think your friend is maybe getting confused with age and generation. A high generation won't change your Tamas in any way. However, at least on the older (P1-P2) Tamas that aren't connection, if your Tama had a high age, like 16, it started getting needier and losing hearts way faster. I don't know if age=neediness on Connection Tamas, but your friend probably thought that your Tama's age was 16, which would need a little more care to keep it alive.

starfire, that is not very likely. if you are out for along time put it to sleep or pause it.
