I saw a forum and then I clicked on entama and mine looks like the same but a bit different.

So is JinSei a type of entama??? :D

There are two Tamagotchi models with "Jinsei" in the name.

The one sold as the American Connection V4 is sold in some countries as the Connexion Jinsei. (They are pretty much the same thing.)

The other is the Japanese model "Chou Jinsei Enjoy! Tamagotchi Plus", which is more commonly known as the EnTama.

The EnTama looks like a V4, but is in Japanese and has a few different functions.

On the EnTama, you don't collect souvenirs.

Regular meals & snacks don't have an effect on skill points (known as GUTS points on the EnTama), but you can purchase special food ingredients and mix them together to cook foods that have an effect on GUTS points.

There are only three games in the games menu.

There is preschool.

There is school. The school game does not show the boxes moving, so you really have to guess which one has doesn't have poo in it. To play the school game you have to wait for the teacher to visit you (she or he does so several times a day). You do have the option to send your character to school at any time, but in that case you only see them leave and come back. They are automatically awarded 1 relevant GUTS point when they return.

There are jobs. There are no job mini games. You do have the option to send your character to work at any time, but you only see them leave and come back. They are automatically awarded 1 relevant GUTS point when they return.

A few more things which are differnet from the V4:

There are some items you can purchase and then use that increase certain GUTS points. Some of these items can be used only 3 times, others can be re-used as many times as you like.

You can purchase a call matchmaker coupon. When you use it, the matchmaker immediately comes - even if your character is an oldie. (Your character must be an adult or an oldie to use it.)

There is no built-in shop. Instead a door-to-door salesman shows up several times a day, offering one item for sale each time. However, you can purchase a call salesman coupon which can be used to summon him whenever you want. You can also purchase many different items from the TamaTama Market on the Japanese TamaTown web site.

Of course the Japanese TamaTown for the EnTama is completely in Japanese.
