Is a Tamagotchi Friends worth it?

Basically I won an auction with 2 V3, one being sealed so that's amazing, and a Tamagotchi Friends all for about 35 bucks. I haven't played Tamagotchi since V6 so I'm clueless about this new one. Is it any good?

it's OK. The sprites are big, pretty, and nice to look at. It lacks intresting features though, besides the fact it connect with the online dream town.
