IR sensor vs PC connection

Hi, I'm new in the Tamagotchi world. I've just got a v 4.5 over the weekend. After studying the instructions that comes with my Tamagotchi, I have a question about the IR sensor and the PC connection. Does the Tamagotchi use its IR sensor on the top to connect to a PC? If so, where is the best location to put my Tamagotchi around the PC? Thank you very much!

no, go to www.tamatown.com, then go to the ir. go to pc and you have a login code. enter it.

No, it dooesn't. if you go tothis link here, click on v4.5. Then, on your v4.5 toy, go to the love heart icon. select PC. type in your username and password from your tamagotchi toy onto the website, and you have logged in.

3. Scroll to PC

4. Enter the code

5. Enter teh username

TO LOG OUT:

1. Click 'log out' on the PC

2. Click A button on tama

3. Enter the code. If it has letters, scroll to nine with A and click A again to get letters.

I thought that when I first got into tamagotchis.

And NO, the little red semi-circle which is the IR sensor does not connect to the PC, NOR does the antenna on the tamagotchi (on the V3 the cylinder, the V4 the ball, V4.5 the star) connect to the PC too.

The IR sensor is used to connect to other tamagotchis.

To connect to the computer, read the above comments. The tamagothis use a CODE system to ''connect'' to the computer. i.e. the tamagotchi uses our username to develop a sequence of letters and numerals to make up a PASSWORD/CODE.
