Data I collected...let me know if you postsed it so I can credit you! 
This is the real way of using the love potion. Sorry if you already know this:
1.this can only work with adults who are 5/6 years old
2.they have to be the oposite gender
3.get the other person ready to connect with you, if you have the potion
4. use the potion, and quickly connect with the opposite gender
5. the tamas will fall in love and have tama babies
6. there will be 2 o the mother's screen
7. one will go to the father's screen
8. There you go!
(Keep track of the time when you got your baby on the screen, i.e. 8:30, wait 24 hours, and set the time to 11:59. Wait one minute. If the tama parent and the baby spent time with each other for a full 24 hours, your parent will wake up. Wait three minute and your adult will go away. Next change the time to the daytime, and you have a new generation)
WORKS WITH BOTH VERSIONS, 2 AND 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's only useful if you have another adult tama of the opposite sex to connect with and you want them to 'mate'. If both tama's drink the love potion at the same time and then connect they will fall in love. sometimes they have babies straight away, sometimes you need to connect again(but be quick). It doesn't always work though, so don't be disappointed if you have just wasted 3000pts by buying it specially!
But you don't have to have love potion to make babies with another tama, it just cuts out the having to connect loads and loads of times in order to fall in love.
There is absolutely no point using it if you don't have anyone to connect with it will not do anything.
Okay, I don't know if this has been posted before, so plz don't get mad at me if it has.
To find out if your Tama is healthy character or not, use your trumpet to figure it out. If it sounds good, it is healthy. If it sounds akward, it is unhealthy. This is for Tmamgotchi Version 3, not 2.
And, (This trick can be used on all Connection Tamagotchis.) to determine if your Tama is clumsy or not, watch it for a long time (1 min) on its normal screen unpaused. If it ever falls flat on it's face its, it's clumsy ! If not, your Tama is not.

When you use the chest on V3 and gives you a present, reset your tama quick and download it. The present will be in your Item list + the chest will still be there!

The 'Bump' game on Ver. 3 Tamagotchis is largely to do with chance but skill can enter the equation a little if you understand how the game works.
The amount of influence you have over winning a round of Bump depends on your Tamagotchi's weight. If your Tamagotchi is very heavy, the more likely you are to win, whereas the lighter your tamagotchi, the more your success comes down to the luck of the draw.
But, there's a catch! Bump has a number of weight divisions and the lighter the weight division you compete in, the more rewarding your wins become. I've put together a table to show you the score chart for the Bump game to explain:

General Tips for playing Bump:
· When it asks you to 'PUSH', hit any button twice - you'll get the hang of how quickly to do it to get a full bar.
· Getting a full bar won't guarantee a win and an empty bar won't guarantee a loss either. The only thing that will guarantee a loss is if you don't push a button when you're asked to.
· It's very unlikely that you'll get to finish Round 8 of the lightest weight division (it's like flipping a coin 8 times and getting all heads) so try to win a heavier weight division instead.
To put on weight simply feed your tamagotchi a lot of food and keep checking the health meter to see how many pounds (lbs) it's up to.
HEADING
Heading is actually quite easy and is a pretty steady way of building up your points. There's a couple of tricks to it though:
1. Most importantly, make sure that none of your button presses overlap. If you press any two buttons simultaneously (even just slightly) your tamagotchi will lock-up and not jump. Each button press should be made distinctly separate from the next.
2. Secondly, after each successfull heading of the ball, move back to the center. This makes it easy to get to the next one quickly.
There is very little fanfare and extra animation involved with Heading so you can get through a game quite quickly. Finishing the game will earn you a nice 400 points. Enjoy!

well, in tamatalk there are so many posts about how to make your tamagotchi look better and how to decorate it. so i decided to make a post containing more ideas and add others ideas too to help others.^^ just type what you've done/or suggestions on how to decorate your tamagotchi and i will list them down under your username. you can also post a picture of your tama and how it looks like and i can add it at the bottom.^^;

2. add charm bracelet's charms to each of the slots of the keychain on the tamagotchi.
3. cell phone glitter stickers and gems .they stick better than normal stickers.
