I am seriously fustrated! I feel like I wanna crawl in a hole and die >.<

Next week, Friday. (This Friday) A MAJOR project is due. Our National History Day project. I haven't started yet because I can't think of a topic. Non that I think of, can I do anything with. I am having a bad mental block.

I really REALLY need help. I don't want my teacher to know because I am to scared she will get mad at me. I have been TRYING and TRYING to come up with a topic for the past few months but nothing! Everyone is doing WW2 (World War 2) I don't want to do a war. I was trying to do the Spartan war, Battle of Thermopylae but everytime I do research I can't keep my mind on it!

I really need help! It's like I am trying to draw a picture without a pencil! This is like 1/3 of my final grade! Last year I did Walt Disney, but I can't this year!

The topic covers "Conflicts and Compromise in History" It can be anything in History. It's like I have ADD, I can't keep my mind on it! I don't know what to do!

Maybe anything related to Al Qaeda, 9/11?

It may be a dangerous topic to touch, but you may make some interesting material out of it.

Or any of the Japanese wars? Even the Hiroshima bomb (near the end of WW2, but you could focus on that one spot rather than on WW2 overview).

There is also the Pakistani and Israeli conflict.

Or the problems in Indonesia.

Even the Spanish civil war!

Hopefully this will help you a little.

I was thinking of a war. But when I was studying, my brain wouldn't accept it. No matter how hard I try and study it won't stick to me!

I don't know what to say about the project except just do it.

As for the studying thing, to make it stick in your head just try to picture what is happing as a story, not that it acctualy happend. If you think of it as just a story that someone wrote, it may help then thinking that it happend and it is history. Sorry i can't say anything else but just do the dang project or you WILL fail. Sorry if i seem mean but i am trying to help.

First off, you need to choose a topic. Try to make it something that you find semi-interesting, this way you can focus on it better when you are doing your research and such.

Second, you need to spend time every day working on it, this way you can get done faster. Set a certain amount of time for you to work on your project each night, and set a timer if you have to.

Good luck!

Sadly nothing History-ish interests me >.< Unless it envolves Internet games.

I am also not the type to work on schedule.

Oh, well then screw my idea! Lol!

But you know, either way you're going to have to get it done, so you may aswell just choose a topic to work on.

You'll just have to try and focus...

Think runescape or these online RPG or a game like Final Fantasy. :)

It could help.

But giving up is not a good plan.

Just try yyour best to focus on something.

There has to be something worth working on.

What about the Tudors?

Sure they were english, but wouldn't that make it more interesting?

It's gruesome aswell.

Just trying my best to help out. <3
