All of my thoughts exactly. Plus, you can check the IR if it works, or at least responds, to another active IR. The batteries of the connection series is one circular, flat sided, battery. LR32, I think. If it's not that, then it's definitely not a real tamagotchi, but I already am convinced it isn't.i'm pretty sure it's a fake. some reasons are:
- paint is quite cheaply applied
- decal isn't centered
- ABC labels are usually never on a tamagotchi
- lower density screen (pixels are larger)
- lighter IR cap
- overall low quality control
is this a tamagotchi you own? or one you plan on buying?
