Honestly, I don't have an infrared cellphone or USB-IR or anything right now. Before I get one, I kind of want to know exactly what you're downloading to the iD L with these things and where the downloads are coming from. I only got the iD L a week or so ago, so I'm still a bit confused about it, considering it's in Japanese and I can't read that language.

If you're asking what kinds of things are available as downloads then, the answer is: minigames, livingroom wallpapers, restaurant meals, TamaCafe snacks, TamaMori clothing and accessories, toys, seed packages (seeds can grow a variety of things such as foods and toys), mail, and happy mail (if you beam happy mail from your Tamagotchi to 3 other Tamagotchi toys, you'll receive a gift.)
