Hello!
Obviously, I'm new here... this is my first post! I'm here because I recently uncovered my old Tamagotchi from within a box of my childhood toys. I went searching for it because I kept remembering it and thinking about how fun it would be to play now. I dug through a few different boxes and then I found it! At first I was really excited but then I got a little sad when I realized that younger me (who was a dumbo) had decided to paint the entire tamagotchi with black nail polish. I took it home from my parents house and slowly and carefully used nail polish remover to remove the black polish. Unfortunately the original paint on the tamagotchi also was removed in the process but I remember that the tamagotchi had pictures of lipstick tubes and lips with teeth on the shell. I believe that the tamagotchi is a "connection v.2" model? Anyway, the paint remover process left the tamagotchi looking a little bit less than glamorous so I am now in the process of repainting it with lots of pretty glitter paints. The screen is also pretty scratched up and when I found it the plastic on the screen was a little foggy looking but I was actually able to remove most of the fogginess by polishing the plastic with a tiny bit of tooth paste and a cotton pad. Once I'm finished with it I'll add a picture or two here. It looks a little "DIY" and messy but it still works fine and I'm excited to start playing with it again.
Thanks for reading my post!
