It's already out in the USA - that first post was made on 4th Feb (not today, 11th Feb)!

I am not sure when they released but yesterday I checked three stores. Target didn't have them AT ALL. Toys "Я" Us had a few, Walmart had a few as well...but the colors weren't great so I didn't get one...I am going to wait about a week and then go by it because I saw really great colors on tamagotchi.com.
