Ok, so you know how you are supposed to be able to go to the shop keeper and push "A" bunch of times, the gets all funny looking and you enter a secret code to get a prize?

Well, I used to be able to fo that with my tamagotchi but now it just beeps at me and won't let me!!!!

One of your items lists may be full. Consume a purchased meal or snack, and trash a toy/item you don't need, then try the shop keeper again.

you must have too many items on either your food or item list. The most you can keep is 32. Delete or use some of those items or eat some of the food and you should be able to get more items or food if you do that.
