my tamagotchi keeps shaking its head when i tell it to go to work. it is 4 years old and i NEED answers

It sounds like your tama character doesn't have a job yet.

It can go to work to attend kindergarten or school, or to perform its job. If your tama character has finished school but not yet qualified for a job, it cant go to work.

I had the same problem this is what Pupsluv24 told me. This might help you too.

Well,I think I know whats going on. Well, after you get the [!] mail again, when your standing there your Tamagotchi is getting a job. So when your standing there, press the ( b ) button if you want your Tamagotchi to apply for the job. If you don't, press the ( a ) button. If you have enough skill points you'll get a job. If your Tamagotchi applys for the job and you get 3 O's, you got the job. If you get 3 X's you didn't get the job. And if you get 2 X's and 1 O, you almost got the job. This isn't a glitch at all, you just didn't know what to do.  Hope I helped!!!

Ya i think its because your tamagotchi does not have a job yet. It can press work to go to School or PreSchool But when it finishes school you should get a job. But u don't have to.

Like the above, when you recieve a ! letter in the mail you can go to work and choose a job.

After that, your Tamagotchi can go to work whenever it wants.
