ok so i heard that if you have harvest moon ds and harvest moon friends of mineral town and more friends of mineral town that you would get those characters and i saw it in a youtube vid but it was with friends of mineral town and more friends. and does anyone knowe what ds stands for

DS stands for Double Screen on the Nintendo.

So it's probably the Nintendo DS version/game chip of Harvest Moon that you've heard about. I don't have Harvest Moon, so I'm sorry I can't tell you if what you've heard is true or not.
