I need advice!

Ok this is so not fair and i don't like it.Here da story!

and if anyone i know knows lily don't tell her I said this.

Every year I do somethin new and the next year she does th same stuff I do and copies me and it's ticking me off!

Heres the stuff I did she copied

I took Ballet and the next year she is in ballet with me

I took lessons and then she decieded to

I took I did cheerleading and now she does that

This is the biggest thing of all!

Our church has a youth group and i'm allowed to join next year cause u have to be in 6th.My cousin gets to go in 5th.

I don't thyink it's fair!I'm mean even if her dad is youth pastor she should wait like me and taylor!She should wait just like everyone else!

The 'biggest of all'? Don't try to keep your cousin away from your youth group- that's pathetic.

Don't be mad with her... be pleased that she thinks your ideas are so good she wants to do them too

As for your cousin - have you even considered that it might help with the child care for your cousin to be in the youth group so that her Dad, the Youth Pastor can run the group and then take her home....?

I agree with TamaMum, you have to look at the positive side of this so you won't be so mad at her. Besides, she's younger (it sounds like it), and maybe she looks at you like a role model! You just do what you are doing right now, and enjoy it!

I had somebody copy me too. They copied my hairstyle, which REALY made me mad.

Ok this ugly wannabe girl, Hanna, had super long hair at the beginning of the year and I did too.

I cut my hair just above my shoulder, then she does, but she did it waaay wrong. I mean, her hair was just... UGLY! It was all frizzy and gross looking, like her face!

Next I start to wear my hair in these pigtails, except they aren't on the side of my head (eww that is ugly), they were in the back and pretty close together. Then a few days later SHE does that. Pretty soon a lot of girls at my school are doing that. But I don't like Hanna and she's not cool so she shouldn't be copying my hair style.

Next, I wear a headband along with the pigtails, and the next day, SHE wears a headband, only it's super ugly like her face.

Next, she wears a color she never wore before... BLACK! I wear black shirts a lot because I have a lot of them and I think they're cute. I could totally tell she was copying me. That girl just better not start wearing black eyeliner with a little line at the corner of the eye. That's how I do it. I bet she'll try to go emo/punk which is how I am.

Everyone's copied something at some point in their life..If you get a certain toy all your friends have you've seen them with it and you go get one then techniqually (sp?) you copied.

If someone enjoys something let them do it, you should be happy that someone wants to be your friend and enjoy things you like with you. But I wouldn't get all huffy about it even though it's annoying.

I see what your saying. You don't want someone copying because you want to be your own self. But take this as more of someone admires you instead of thinking it's not fair. I know this sounds weird but when people copy me I fell as if some one thinks I have a cool sense of style and stuff like that. Though when most girls walk by me they flip their hair and act as if they are better then me. T.T Don't be mad be glad. ^^

The fact that someone doing what you like to do can make you this angry is a bit ridiculous. I suppose I should warn you now that throughout life, people will do the same things you do. It is just a fact, and you need to realize that. Being unique does not mean freaking out when others want to imitate you and desperately searching for something new. If you are unique, you just are. It is nothing you can attain by grabbing at random things.

A true individual follows their own heart and does what they love to do, and pays no attention when others follow suit.

Okay, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm not popular, I'm just really smart and there are a bunch of little kids following me ALL THE TIME that want to copy everything I do. They think that it will make them smart.

I've gotten used to it. In fact it's kinda fun after awhile. I enjoy showing them how to do things correctly and showing them how I fix my hair or do my nails. It is kinda scary when an older person tries to copy me, tho.

Just consider her as a friend, rather than a relative and show her ways to fix it when she messes up and help her out a little. It can be fun.

(I'm counting now...)1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ... about 6 girls copy all the time. And two of them are around my age and can be really annoying. I get used to it and you can too. Just look at the bright side. At least she isn't copying everything you say...
