So, a long time ago I switched the casings of my v3 and my v4. All well and good, but I remember having to cut the sound lines to get anywhere.
Now, I'd like to try taking apart my v5 to see whether I actually *need* to cut the sound lines, or if I was just that lame back then. (Just as a test, since I have a lot of spare Tamas whose cases might be better on a different version that I'd actually play.)
However, I'm having a LOT of trouble with the inner screws. I know that the screwdriver I'm using works, since I just put my v3 back together with it. (After putting the v4 into the v3's case, I never bothered putting the v3 back together in the v4's case, until recently.) But even when I'm applying full pressure to this thing and turning the screwdriver slowly, I can't get the screws to move at all!
Does anyone have any tips? :/ I've tried several small screwdrivers now. I also tried taking apart my v2, and ran into the same problem, sooo... Help?
