How To Connect

I'm not sure about version 1, as I do not own one. I'm sure about version 2, version 3, and version 4, but not version 4.5.

Version 2 to Version 2

1) Choose the fifth icon on each tama

2) Choose 'Version 2' on each tama

3) Choose either 'Game' or 'Present' on each. Make sure you choose the same one on both!

4) Put the tamas together

5) Press button B on one or both

Version 2 to Version 3

1) Choose the fifth icon on each tama

2) On the V2, choose 'V1' and on the V3, choose 'Other'

3) Put them together and press B

Version 2 to Version 4

1) Choose the fifth icon on each tama

2) On the V2, choose 'V1'. On the V4, choose 'Other'

3) Put them together and press B

Version 3 to Version 3

1) Choose the fifth icon on each tama

2) Choose 'V3' on each

3) Choose either 'Game', 'Present', or 'Visit' on each. Make sure you choose the same one on both!

4) Put them together and press B

Version 3 to Version 4

1) Choose the fifth icon on each tama

2) On the V3, choose 'Other'. On the V4, choose it's either 'Other' or 'V3' (I can't remember)

3) Put them together and press B

I hope this cleared up any confusion. I'm sorry if this has already been posted, but I don't have the time or patience to look at all 101 pages in this forum. XD

I have just performed a search, and I didn't find anything like this.

A version 1 is pretty simple:

Version 1 to Version 2

1. Select the fifth icon on both Tamagotchi.

2. On the v2 select "Version 1" and on the v1 just connect as normal (no menus)

Version 1 to Version 3 and Over

1. Select the fifth icon on both Tamagotchi.

2. On the v1 connect as normal, on the other Tamagotchi select "Others".

As for choosing the same connect option on both Tamagotchi, that does not do anything except for making it 100% certain that that choice is going to happen. What I mean is:

If Tama 1 picks Game and Tama 2 also picks Game, the two Tamagotchi will definitely play a game.

However, if Tama 1 picks Game and Tama 2 picks Present, either the two Tamagotchi will play a game or Tama 2 will be given a present.
