How to charge a smart without frying the tamagotchi

As most of you know i am getting a smart and i want to be prepared for it because im buying it with my money and i dont wanna ruin it
during charging so im asking how to charge it without it frying because i havent read much about it but from what i know thats a bad

I’ve read people actually use their laptops to charge their smarts.
