How to change time when replacing dead batteries on tamagotchi on/meets?

Each time I change low batteries on my Tamagotchi on, I can't figure out how to change the time to make it current. I hit continue, then it shows the "make sure the time is correct" screen but I've tried pressing every button, combine of buttons, and even pressing nothing but it all just brings me to the main screen. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks!

When you go to the first icon, select the third option and then press B for the first option, where you can change the time/date.
