GET HEALTHY. Make you tamagotchi stay at a low weight. If feeding snacks, burn off the calories. I reccommend playing jump rope.
RAISE POINTS. Raise skill points in the group you want. At childhood, keep the groups above 20 for a good teen.
TAKE GOOD CARE. Neglection makes your tamagotchi sick and it will be a universal. Watch and check every 5-10 minutes, depending on stage.
Do this to keep your tamagotchi steered in the right direction. Hope it helps!

I've seen a few posts about not getting universal tamas. Just out of curiosity, what is so bad about them that makes them very unpopular?
