how many times do the tamas evolve and i have a Kuchipatchi that evolved from itchigotchi does that mean i took good care of him or no. hes 5 yrs old

No, you won't always get Kuchipatchi on you're first. You'll always get Ichigotchi on your first. Otherwise you'll only get Ichigotchi 2nd Generation and up. And he was right, it won't evolve anymore.
