How long does it take for the batteries to run out?

Because this mornin' my Tamagotchi was skippin' around to different things, and it was moving fast.

Then I took the batteries out and put them back in.

...Then it started to move slower.

Now it has stopped.

Do you have any idea what happened?

Thats kinda wierd....you prolly need new batteries....but I dunno.

dunno, I've had my Tama since November 26 and I haven't changed the batteries

My own tamagotchis have been active since before christmas and remain fully alive thus far. Rumors are floating around about how a few of the first batch had bad batteries but as far as I know Bandai has corrected the mistake and released a newer less troublesome batch of Tama Connections to retailers such as Walmart.

I hope I was even remotely helpful.

The first batch has VERY bad batteries.

My purple one has had three batteries so far.

The first lasted for 2 months.

The second lasted for a week.

The third lasted for a day.
