How do you send presents with v1?

Ok, so I have friends on my list, And it lets me go to that, but when i try to send i present it wont let me! how do you get a present! how do you send one!

You can't SEND a present, you can only wrap it. But when you connect, pick "present" the person recieveing the present clicks on the icon first.

That is only one a v2.

This member has a v1.

Because you have a v1, you cannot send choosen presents. You can randomly receive them from other tamagotchis (v1 or 2).
