How do you know if it's a Ver 1 or 2 ?

Hi all !!

Just wondering, after reading up I still can't tell the difference too much.. But when I go out to buy a ver 2... How will I tell that it's not a ver 1 on the packaging?

The Ver. 2's have rectangular packaging (the V1's have yellow, sort of hourglass-shaped packaging) that's purple or magenta. It also says on the top right corner: "Version 2". Good luck!

In the righthand corner of the box that the tama comes in, it will say version 2. If it doesn't say that, then it's a version 1.

Read the back and see if it has features like shop, gotchi points, etc.

it has tamagotchi connection on the top of it and they come in certain colours and they come in rectangular packaging and they say V2 in the corner
