Okay, I have shoes and no matter what I do the smell won't come out! First I tried washing them in the washing machine. It didn't work. Than I tried the baking soda trick and all it did was get stuck in my shoes! Is there anyone out there who has some other secret I can try?

Hmm.. You could try tomato juice o.o' That's how you get skunk smell out of your clothes/skin. It might work for shoes. But it almost might dye your shoes red x.X'

Maybe take the in soles out first and try that. It might just be that they smell bad and the rest of the shoe is fine.

Try putting baby powder in them, & leaving them overnight.

I heard that in an article, and they said it worked pretty well

I tried to put powder and stuff in them already and all it did was get stuck in the shoes and I couldn't get it out. i can't afford new shoes. My family of 6 can only aford one pair of tennes shoes for each persone per year. The only exeption is if someone has a growth spert and gets giant feet. (our family has a reputation for that) If I do take the soles out than where can I get new ones?

If you take the soles out and clean them you can put them back in o.o' You could probably find new soles in a store like PayLess if you have one.

I'd follow SK's advice and grab some new soles. Do you wear them with socks? That may seem like an obvious, dumb question, but the reason for asking is equally obvious: wearing your shoes without socks makes 'em STANK. ALWAYS wear them with socks. It also helps lower the risk of staph infection contraction, etc - it's just an all around good idea. The powder junk never worked for me, either, but I ended up growing out of that particular pair of stinky shoes.

You could always be immoral and lie and say they are too small or something so you can get a new pair, but you may be foiled by an astute relative. :p

Grab new soles. You can find them anywhere, even at [insert your local grocery store here].

Good idea!

I think that's the thing she was looking for.

Anyways, I was pretty surprised that the Baby powder didnt work.

Articles can tell such lies, eh? :D
